King's Island Children's Church:
Each week is an exciting adventure at King's Island where children, PreK-Grade 5, learn about the love of God, Bible truths and Bible characters. King's Island runs from September through May with Excursion Hour running all year long.

This class provides the opportunity to study in a warm supportive environment with fellowships throughout the year. Those attending this class receive a quarterly lesson supplement for devotional times and study throughout each week.

The awesomeness of God is seen in many ways: in His purposes, in the arts, in missions, in His love towards us, and in our care for one another. These are all points of application covered as the Scriptures are studied in this class.

Is your life in balance? Learn how the Word brings balance to your life with fellowship and great teaching. This year will focus on the study of two outstanding Biblical characters, Joshua and Jesus. Come hear how you can apply life application from the Scriptures on a daily basis.

Beginners Sign Language
Join us for an introduction to American Sign Language and the deaf community and culture. An emphasis will be placed on learning to sign the Scriptures.

Is the Bible relevant today? Does the Bible have anything to say about today’s issues? Through teaching and class discussion we will analyze the Bible to determine God’s opinion on current issues in our world. Join us for a revealing study and insightful interactive discussion of God’s Word.

Growing Together (Engaged Couples or Couples Contemplating Marriage)
This 12-week preparation class is designed for couples contemplating marriage at Bethesda. These warm and instructive gatherings prepare each couple for the wedding as well as married life. Completion of the course is a prerequisite for marriage at Bethesda. A $35 material fee is charged.

Hebraic Roots of Christianity
Enrich your faith by learning about the heritage of Christianity’s Hebraic roots - the Jewish faith. Topics include how Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament, Jewish culture, festivals and teachings. Offered September-May.

Marriage Matters (Engaged and Couples Married 10 years or less)
This class brings a refreshing perspective to what it means to build together a Christ-centered marriage. The format is devotional and interactive as time is spent growing closer to God and to each other as couple. Couples will learn, discuss and pray within a group, and with each other.

One Way (Single's Ministry for adults 30 & over)
Being single in today’s world while remaining upright and faithful before a righteous God has many challenges. How do single Christians face the worldly influences of this culture? One Way aims to help answer the question by providing a place where Christian singles are equipped to Biblically confront the challenges of the world they encounter. Discussions are facilitated by prepared leaders and conducted in a lively interactive group setting. Times of fun, fellowship and activities are planned throughout the year.

Pressing Toward the Mark
The letter to the Romans is truly amazing. Its main theme is God’s redemptive plan for man, stating clearly man’s fallen condition as the result of sin and God’s plan to reconcile him through Jesus Christ. Each lesson dovetails into the next to form a greater understanding of righteousness by faith in Jesus Christ.

Strong in God’s Word
Study the Gospels in chronological order and understand the inspired messages they contain as well as the history and culture in which they were written.

At various times throughout the year special classes and “Break Out” classes are offered on Wednesday evenings. Typically four to six Break Outs are offered usually for four to six weeks. During these times all come together at 7pm for a time of songs and worship, then break out to different classes.

Nurseries are available during service times Sundays and Wednesdays for newborns through 3 years of age.Location: 1st Floor, Learning Center

- Excursion Hour (9-9:45 a.m.): Small group time involving Bible memorization, chapel, activites, and a prelude to the King's Island weekly focus.
- Large Group (9:45-noon): Snacks and weekly scripture games at "The Lagoon" and chapel with worship songs, drama, puppets, lessons and more.
