Womens Ministries

It is our desire at Bethesda for women to grow in the knowledge and understanding of the Word of God and learn how to apply Biblical truths to everyday life. Women’s Ministry provides an avenue for women to nurture friendships, support, encourage and pray for one another and share Christ with others outside the church.

UPCOMING EVENT: WOMEN'S TEA
The Women's "Friendship Tea" is Saturday, May 22. Table hostesses are needed. As a table hostess you have the opportunity to decorate your own table in the Crystal Rooms and serve your invited guests. Contact Julie Visger for details or to sign up.

APPLES OF GOLD
Apples of Gold is a mentoring program for women based on Titus 2. For details call Julie at the Church Office.

ENCOURAGEMENT GROUP
This group, called "In His Hand," is for women experiencing a long-term illness and meets on the 2nd Monday each month at 10 a.m. in Crystal Room C.

NEEDLECRAFT MINISTRY
Put your craft skills to work making bears for children in crisis, and blankets for babies and shut-ins. This group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays each month at 7 p.m. Check the Church Calendar for exact dates and room location. No experience necessary.

VISITATION TO NEW MOMS
We offer personal visit for support to first-time moms who have recently welcomed new babies into their lives.

WOMEN AT THE WELL
Women at the Well is a Bible Study that takes place each fall and spring on Thursdays at 7 p.m. Call Julie Visger to sign up, (586) 264-2300, Ext. 117.

WOMEN'S SMALL GROUP
If you want to become spiritually beautiful in Christ join Beauty for Ashes on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. January - May. Focus on getting rid of unholy habits and letting go of the past.
